Whether you want to spend hours watching someone else play a computer game is debatable, but the larger screen undoubtedly makes gaming a more enjoyable experience.To compliment the bigger screen, the XL has a larger pen-like stylus, although this doesn't slot into the console.However, the extra screen size comes at a cost. The 6"x3.5" console is no longer 'pocket-sized' and it weighs a hefty 314g - 100g more than previous editions. Story of movie Road revolves around his journey and his experiences during the esacape.He meets Tannishtha Chatterjee in the form of a runaway gypsy woman and from there on, the movie portrays their relationship and experiences while on the Road. Atithi Tum Kab Jaoge is quite unlike the hysterical laugh acts that have been trying terribly hard to make you laugh in recent Bollywood. More of a chuckle-and-a-smirk drama, this one doesn't even try to convince you that life is all ha-ha-he-he. Instead, it creates situations and characters that fill you with warmth and make you smile with the familiar quirkiness of recognisable situations. Now when was the last time you pulled your hair out when your `unwanted' relatives from Gorakhpur, or any other small town, landed in your pint-sized flat with their pet peeves and infuriating habits. Like gargling before the break of dawn, creating man-made floods in your tiny washroom or converting your favourite window into a make-shift clothesline...Well, that's what our avuncular Chachaji (Paresh Rawal) does when he arrives unannounced at friend Putani's son, Pappu's (Ajay Devgn) house. Pappu's uptown wife (Konkana Sen Sharma) is soon forced to fry pakoras and play hostess to his neighbourhood friends who are naturally drawn irresistibly to this friendly old man who has a grandma's remedy for all their cures and a bhajan for all their woes. It doesn't take long for anger to be replaced by genuine warmth, as Chachaji carries with him a whole culture into the antiseptic flat which had hitherto housed a family that was simply running in a rat race. Paresh Rawal leads the gentle humour brigade that finds great foot soldiers in the likes of Devgn (restrained and likeable), Konkana (earthy and grounded), Satish Kaushik (watchable) and Sanjay Mishra (impressive). Is it truly back to the 1980s for Bollywood comedies? Wait and watch out for some more of the Basu Chatterjee-Hrishikesh Mukherjee brand revival. A word about: Performances: Paresh Rawal's pitches a picture perfect Chachaji, while Ajay Devgn and Sanjay Mishra are immensely watchable. Story: Robin Bhatt and Tushar Hiranandani pick up a familiar tale and give it a refreshing twist. Dialogues: The humour is gentle and subtle and never tries to drown you with its desperation to make you laugh. Styling: Upper middle class Mumbai fashion meets mofussil town chaddis and dhotis. Inspiration: The 1980s family-ishtyle comedies of Basu Chatterjee and Hrishikesh Mukherjee. A little girl starstruck by the chart-topping singer was bundled away by a burly bodyguard when she tried to pose for a picture with the mega star.Yesterday the little girl was ushered through barriers set up around the entrance to the St. David's Hotel by her father as the 23-year-old exited the venue en route to her gig. Disappointed: The blonde girl looks upset as she tries to get close to the pop star outside the St David's Hotel in CardiffOnce the girl had reached steps leading to the entrance, her watching father tried to instruct her to hug Gaga and pose for a photograph.However, as the red-jacketed girl approached Gaga, wearing a black dress and veil, one of the singer's huge bodyguards grabbed her by the shoulders and lifted her out of sight.An onlooker said: 'The little girl was smiling and obviously wanted a cuddle for her picture. By Claire Bates Skinput could solve the problem of ever shrinking gadget screens Those who find the touchscreens on their ever shrinking gadgets too fiddly to handle, will be glad to hear scientists are developing a new touch surface... your own arm.Developers at Microsoft Research and Carnegie Mellon University are working together to create an armband that projects an interface directly on to your skin.They have combined a mini projector which creates a changing display with a sophisticated sensor that can tell which part of your arm is being tapped A video showed how Skinput could recognise a telephone number being typed out on a hand The researchers showed Skinput can be used to control audio devices, play simple games like Tetris, make phone calls and navigate simple browsing systems.Lead researcher Chris Harrison from Carnegie Mellon University told the Mail Online: 'This is cutting edge technology and we really are seeing the future here.'The project is going very well and I think you'll begin to see such interfaces emerge within the next five years.'The gadget effectively turns your arm into a touchscreen surface by picking up various ultra-low sounds produced when you tap different areas.Different skin locations are acoustically distinct because of bone density and the filtering effect from soft tissues and joints. The team then used software that matched sound frequencies to specific skin locations.If the prototype isn't resting on the arm, it uses wireless technology like Bluetooth to transmit the commands to the device being controlled, such as a phone, iPod, or computer Researchers said our skin is perfect as it is a display surface that we always take with usWriting in a paper for Microsoft Research, Chris Harrison, Desney Tan and Dan Morris, said: 'Our skin has been overlooked as an input canvas and is one that happens to always travel with us.'Furthermore, proprioception - our sense of how our body is configured in three-dimensional space - allows us to accurately interact with our bodies in an eyes-free manner.'We can readily flick each of our fingers, touch the tip of our nose, and clap our hands together without visual assistance.' The sensor picks up two two types of acoustic signals - transverse waves created by the rippling of skin as it's tapped and longitudinal waves that travel through the soft tissue of the arm and excite the bone. The armband prototype can be combined with an MP3 player and used to change the song or volume level Skinput will be presented at a computer conference in AprilCurrently, the acoustic detector can detect five skin locations with an accuracy of 95.5 per cent, which would be high enough for many smartphone applications.Mr Harrison told the Mail Online: 'We achieved high input accuracy in the lab with about one error in 20 key presses, which is similar to what you might find on an iPhone keyboard.'Twenty volunteers who have tested the system said they found it easy to navigate. The researchers added that Skinput also works well when the user is walking or running.There are many potential markets for the device. Mr Harrison said: 'One example is an audio player on your upper arm. Perhaps it has no buttons at all, and only uses the skin as the finger input canvas. 'You could then just tap your fingers to advance to the next song, change the volume, or pause the current song. You wouldn't even need a projector for most of these types of interactions.'
